Hey guys
Ive got great news. Im finally heading back into the studio!
Heres some news on why.
So As most Canadians already know, Alberta has been at the mercy of several gigantic wildfires. The most well known one being the one that caused the mass evacuation for Fort Mcmurray. Despite the hard work of hundreds of fire crew it was unstopable. Thankfully i hear a lot of the city is still standing Although Even being here in Ireland it made the daily news. With so many interviews and videos poping up i decided to try and tell the story through song. I sat down and wrote “A Northern Town” I recently made a youtube video only a day after i wrote it and recieved enough positive feedback that i decided i would find a recording studio and bring this song to it’s full inspiring potential!
I’ll have a few session players join me and with any luck we will all be on the same page and come out with something awesome that gives credit to those fightng the fires,gives hope to those most effected and bring us all together as Canadians helping each other though tough times. Thats what this song is about. The Canadian spirit and our strength not just as idividual provinces but as a whole hard working nation that will rise from the ashes together!
