A new year and new music

Hey everyone

Well I have good and bad news. The bad news first. My crowd funding campaign was a total fail. I did however manage to raise 800 of the 2000 but with it being an all or nothing deal i did not recieve any money and it was returned to those who donated it. If you are one of the people who tried to send some cash my way I am very very grateful! Its fans like you who keep me trying to improve and release new music. That fail will not stop me from moving forward and recording a new album. It just wont be as big or as soon as i was aiming for.
OK now The good news.
I scraped up what money i could and went back into the studio for another 3 days of recording. We got a lot accomplished and some songs are finally coming to life! I think with 3 more days i can probably have it finished up. So im saving for that now. Then i will start saving again to take the next steps of manufacturing, promotion, advertising and touring. All very expensive yet essential aspects of releasing a succesdul album. I wanted to release the new album this spring or early summer. Had i reached my crowdfunding goal that would have happend. Now i am honstly unsure of a release date simply because i really want to do it right this time. I dont want to be just throwing it out there with no money to push it or to tour with. Saving up that kind of cash is going to take awhile. I remain optimistic and positive that it will be worth the wait. If it has to be a year from now than so be it. I may be back in Canada at that point and if so will certainly do some touring.
